Senator Okechukwu Ezea why have you been voiceless on the recent Nigeria Police Force brutality that led to the death of Mr. Nnaemeka Ugwu?

Senator Okechukwu Ezea why have you been  voiceless on  the recent Nigeria Police Force  brutality  that led to the death of Mr. Nnaemeka Ugwu? The same man is from your senatorial zone  and your nonchalant altitude on the issue is truly inexcusable. As a Senator of the good  people of Enugu North senatorial zone at the red chamber , it is your duty to speak out against injustice and protect the rights of your constituents just like Hon. Dennis Agbo did last week.  It is crystal clear your inaction is a conspicuous reminder of the lack of accountability and transparency that have plagued Enugu North senatorial zone since you assumed office. The fact that you have not uttered a word of condemnation or called for an investigation into the incident is a betrayal of the trust placed on you by the people that voted you massively in 2023. We will continue to say this, that the death of Mr. Nnaemeka Ugwu at the hands of this brutal police officer ...

APPLYING IGBO JUSTICE SYSTEM IN THE CASE BETWEEN OBOLLO PEOPLE VS ASP DUMIRI

APPLYING IGBO JUSTICE SYSTEM IN THE CASE BETWEEN  OBOLLO PEOPLE VS ASP DUMIRI In Igbo culture, killing another human being (igbu ochu) is regarded as a taboo. Apart from other offenses in Igbo culture that are equally considered as taboo like a married woman who commits adultery ( Ntwa ukwu or igba okwa), igbu ochu is ranked as the highest level of desecration of mother earth(Ala).  Usually, when the earth goddess is desecrated in whatever form, cleansing and appeasement rituals are usually carried out to appease the earth goddess and cleanse the land. It could be in form of offering animal sacrifices or banishment of the offender.  This cultural practices  that I describe here are copiously represented in popular literatures that some of us might have read. For instance, In Chinua Achebe's classic work, Things Fall Apart, the protagonist, Okonkwo fled Umuofia for seven years exile after his gun accidentally kills Ezeudu's sixteen years old son during a g...

A Call to Action: Stand Against Police Brutality. National President Nsukka Youths General Assambly Cmr. Clinton Ogbonna Calls for Peaceful Protest Tommorow.  Fellow youths, the time has come for us to rise up and demand justice. The scourge of police brutality has plagued Enugu North senatorial zone for far too long, and it's imperative that we take a stand against this systemic oppression. We've seen the devastating effects of police brutality firsthand - the senseless killings, the harassment, the intimidation. It's unacceptable, and it's our responsibility to demand change.  The #EndSARS movement, which began in 2017 and gained momentum in 2020, is a testament to the power of our collective voices and effort . As young people, we're often told that we're the future leaders of our nation. But I say, why wait? We have the power to effect change now. We have the power to demand justice, to demand accountability, and to demand an end to police brutal...

ENUGU COMMAND SHOULD STOP THE COVER UP AND PROVIDE ANSWER TO QUESTIONS BEING ASKED.

ENUGU COMMAND SHOULD STOP THE COVER UP AND PROVIDE ANSWER TO QUESTIONS BEING ASKED. The police image maker in  Enugu State Police Command should stop contradicting himself and do his job professionally by providing answers to question being asked. We are very happy that the police image maker mentioned one Uroko Ifeanyi Moses ( alias "sim card", aged 28) who was identified and arrested. We are aware that the above mentioned person was the individual on mask who was released by ASP Dumbiri few hours after illegally arresting several women including breastfeeding mothers. We are aware that he Ifeanyi Uroko ( alias sim card ) is a drug peddler who peddles drugs ( Mkpuru Mmiri) for ASP Dumbiri and always takes him around on mask to arrest innocent citizens for sole purpose of extortion and brutality.  Where is the Ifeanyi Uroko ( alias sim card)? is he still in detention for the crime? has he been tried for the crime? Was he released by ASP Dumbiri at Obollo Afor roun...
