APC Leader, Barr. Emeka Abah, Condemns Enugu Bye-Election For State House Of Assembly, Accuses State Government of Manipulation
The Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Udenu Local Government Area, Barr. Emeka Abah, has strongly criticized the conduct of yesterday’s State House of Assembly bye-election in Enugu South, describing it as a deliberate assault on democracy. Barr. Abah, in a statement issued today, faulted the Enugu State Government for what he termed “a total lack of transparency and orchestrated sabotage to frustrate a credible electoral process.” According to him, several polling units were either deliberately delayed or completely obstructed from conducting elections, denying the people of that Constituency their constitutional right to freely choose their representative.
