UDENU ADC SUSPENDS ITS LOCAL GOVERNMENT PARTY CHAIRMAN, PASSES VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE. The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State has suspended its Local Government Party Chairman, Hon. Ngwu Chisimdi, popularly known as Bamaiyi, following far-reaching resolutions adopted at an Executive Committee meeting held on Wednesday, January 15, 2026. The high-level meeting, which took place at Emirates Garden, Obollo-Afor, brought together key members of the ADC Udenu Local Government Executive. After extensive deliberations, the committee resolved that the chairman be suspended with immediate effect over allegations of misconduct and actions said to be inimical to the unity, credibility, and growth of the party at the grassroots.
