Nsukka Traders Rally Behind Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah ’s Digital Tax Revolution  ;  A New Dawn for Development in Enugu State”

The Nsukka Traders Association has officially thrown its weight behind Governor Peter Ndubisimba’s groundbreaking Digital Tax Reform set to kick off in 2026 an initiative they believe marks the beginning of a more transparent, accountable, and development driven Enugu State.

Their endorsement followed a powerful and well articulated presentation from Ochendo Chikamso Onyishi , who clearly outlined the governor’s vision: a tax system that is not just digital, but smarter, fairer, and fully dedicated to the growth of the state. Ochendo’s presentation highlighted how every kobo generated through taxes is now being channeled directly into tangible, people centered projects.

From improved road networks to modern healthcare facilities and enhanced educational infrastructure, traders acknowledged that the governor’s developmental strides are visible and impactful. They expressed satisfaction that their contributions are being put to meaningful use building a state where businesses can thrive and communities can flourish.

The executives and leadership of the Nsukka Traders Association reaffirmed their readiness to adopt the digital tax system and called on all traders within Nsukka to embrace the reform wholeheartedly. According to them, prompt tax payment is not just a civic duty it is an investment in the future of Enugu State.

Their collective approval is a strong testament to the association’s trust in Governor Ndubisimba’s leadership, his commitment to accountability, and his bold vision for a digitally transformed, economically vibrant Enugu State.

Nsukka rises. Development continues. A brighter Enugu is in view.
