Enugu North Unveils a Dynamic Grassroots Force: “Progressive Youths for Tomorrow Is Here Movement” Takes Off with Great Enthusiasm ..

A new dawn of political awareness and youth driven transformation has begun in Enugu State as Enugu North Senatorial Zone proudly launched an innovative and people oriented platform  “Progressive Youths for Tomorrow Is Here Movement.”

The groundbreaking initiative, aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization and promoting civic enlightenment, is pioneered by Hon. Ochendo Chikamso Onyishi , who serves as the Zonal Leader/ Coordinator, and Hon. Tony Okonkwo, the Personal Assistant to the Governor, who doubles as the National Chairman of the movement.

During the brief ceremony, the leaders and members of the movement unveiled a strategic roadmap detailing the vision, mission, and objectives of this bold initiative. The event drew enthusiastic participation from community leaders, youths, and political stakeholders who share a common goal   to deepen public sensitization about the achievements and ongoing reforms of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah  in Enugu State.

The Progressive Youths for Tomorrow Is Here Movement is designed to operate as a grassroots enlightenment network, creating awareness about the governor’s developmental agenda in key sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, technology, and human capital development also to sensitive the people about voters registration and beyond that, the movement serves as a mobilization front in support of Governor Mbah’s re-election bid in the 2027 General Elections, ensuring that the people at the grassroots are fully informed, engaged, and empowered to participate in the democratic process.

Hon. Ochendo Chikamso Onyishi, in his address, described the movement as “a new energy for a progressive tomorrow,” emphasizing that the youth must take ownership of the state’s transformation story and also the need for the good people of Enugu North senatorial zone to support Governor Mbah in 2027  In the same vein, other key individuals commended the forum and  stressing that the movement is not just about politics, but about sustaining good governance and continuity of excellence in leadership.

With this launch, Enugu North has set the pace for what promises to be a youthful, inclusive, and visionary political awakening   one that celebrates progress, unity, and the collective dream of a better Enugu State under the steady leadership of Governor Peter Mbah.
