The Executive chairman of Uzo-uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State, Hon. Barr. Chijioke Ezugwu has extended his warmest congratulatory message to the Governor of Enugu state, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on the historic launch of Enugu Air, held yesterday, July 7, 2025 at the Akanu Ibiam International airport, Enugu.

In his Congratulatory message released this morning by his Special Adviser On Media, Chief Kingsley Onyeji, he said, that the launch of Enugu Air by his Excellency, Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, is a bold, visionary and transformative milestone that signals a new altitude for Enugu State.

"This moment is not just a celebration of a State-owned airline; it is a celebration of possibility, audacity and the power of strategic thinking. 

"The launch of Enugu Air by my father and my principal, is a bold, visionary and transformative milestone that signals a new altitude for the entire state. This is unprecedented in the history of the state.Our Governor has once again redefine what is possible in governance.

Speaking further, Ezugwu stated that the launching of Enugu Air is more than a project, it is what leadership looks like when vision meets action.

His words: "Sir, Enugu Air is more than a project, it is a symbol of what leadership looks like when vision meets action. Your Excellency, history will remember you as the Governor who didn't just fly the flag of Enugu high,but made it soar across nations.

In the congratulatory message, Ezugwu concluded by saying that the atmosphere of Uzo-uwani is stirred with Joy as the news filtered in, our people celebrate this milestone with gratitude and pride. We are proud to be part of this era of aviation renaissance in Enugu State. Ezugwu, concluded.
