In a show of solidarity and growing political momentum, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Udenu Local Government leadership, led by the respected party chieftain Barr. Emeka Abah, joined their counterparts in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area to formally welcome a fresh wave of defectors into the party.

The event, which took place amid cheers and renewed hope, was attended the Minister of Innovation Science and Technology Chief Uche Nnaji, State Party Chairman Ugochukwu Agballah, party stakeholders, youth leaders, and a large number of APC supporters who gathered to witness what has been described as another bold step toward consolidating the party’s influence across Enugu State.

Barr. Emeka Abah, commended the courage and decision of the defectors to join the APC, describing their move as a strategic and forward-thinking choice. He emphasized that the APC remains the only political platform committed to progressive leadership, grassroots development, and inclusive governance.

According to Abah, the mass defection to the APC is proof that the people are yearning for a political structure that prioritizes their welfare over personal interests. He assured the new members of fair representation, active participation, and equal opportunities within the party.

The Igbo-Eze North APC leadership also expressed joy at the influx of new members, stressing that the development marks a significant step toward strengthening the party’s chances in upcoming elections.

The event was rounded off with symbolic presentations of party flags to the defectors, signifying their official integration into the APC family. Party leaders from both local governments pledged continued collaboration to ensure the party’s dominance across the region.
