As a stakeholder in the real estate and infrastructure sector, i have witnessed firsthand how governance can shape not just policies, but destinies. Today, i join thousands across our dear state in celebrating the two remarkable years of purposeful leadership under His Excellency, Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.
When Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah assumed office, he promised a new era of growth, transparency, and people-focused development. Two years down the line, his administration has not only lived up to that promise—but has surpassed expectations.
For those of us in the real estate industry, these past two years have been nothing short of revolutionary. From streamlined land titling processes to improved urban planning policies and strategic infrastructure investments, the Governor’s vision has laid a solid foundation for sustainable growth. His administration’s commitment to digitizing land registries, enforcing building regulations, and opening up new economic corridors has sparked investor confidence like never before.
Today, as we mark the two years anniversary of his administration, i proudly reflect on a legacy already taking shape, one of resilience, reform, and remarkable achievements.
Under Governor Mbah's leadership, Enugu State has risen to become one of the most sought-after investment destinations in the country. Through strategic reforms, infrastructural development, and people-centric policies, the state is undergoing a renaissance that is unlocking opportunities across every sector.
Economy & Investment: A Hub Reborn.
Governor Mbah has positioned Enugu as the go-to destination for investors seeking stability, transparency, and growth . Enugu state has simplified investment processes, offered fiscal incentives, and created an investor-friendly regulatory environment. These efforts have attracted billions in domestic and foreign direct investments in sectors ranging from agrobusiness and technology to energy and real estate.
Education & Youth
Empowerment.
Governor Mbah believes that the true wealth of any society lies in its human capital. Over the past two years, the administration has renovated, and launched the Smart Green Schools initiative across the 260 wards
equipped, and employed qualified teachers, with the introduction of cuting-edge digital learning schools.
Water
The commitment to providing potable water to Enugu residents within 180 days has been fulfilled almost with the commissioning of the 9th Mile 24/7 Water Scheme, which delivers 70 million liters daily, alongside the revitalized Oji River Water Scheme, contributing an additional 50 million liters. These initiatives have skyrocketed water production from 2 million to 120 million liters daily, exceeding urban demand.
Modern Transport Interchanges..
With the Commissioning of four ultra-modern transport terminals at Holy Ghost, Abakpa, Gariki, and Nsukka, designed to streamline intra- and inter-state transportation, which will definitely reduce congestion and improving commuter experiences is another great milestone of his Excellency.
Healthcare & Social Services.
The health sector has witnessed a major overhaul under Governor Mbah as Modern primary Type C healthcare centers now operate in all local government areas, staffed with well trained personnel.
Security & Good Governance
Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has led from the front in ensuring peace and security across the state. Through investment in modern policing tools, local intelligence networks, and strategic collaboration with security agencies, the state has maintained a stable environment conducive for business and peaceful living.
