Still on World Veterinary DAY 2025

The Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association celebrated World Veterinary Day nationwide yesterday, Saturday April 26,2025. and the NEC, joined Enugu state chapter to commemorate the event. 

Prof. C. A Eze, the keynote speaker did justice to the theme "Animal Health Takes a Team"  While former NVMA President, Rt.Hon.Dr Godwin Abonyi  was the Chairman of the occasion. 

The NVMA President, Dr. Moses Arokoyo who was unavoidably absent, was ably represented by the Assistant General Secretary, Dr. Gloria Daminabo supported by the Secretary General and Financial Secretary.

Dignitaries who also graced the occasion included the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, ably represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and Agro-industralization, Hon, Patrick Uburu, The Permanent Secretary, Dr. Victor Ngwu,  VCN President, Prof Matthew Adamu, Secretary of the BOT, Prof. Denchris Onah, VCN Acting Registrar, Dr. Dotun Fadipe, amongst others. 

Congratulations to Enugu State Excos, ably led by Dr.Chidiebere Iloh for a successful outing and Thank you for hosting the NEC.
