ENUGU COMMAND SHOULD STOP THE COVER UP AND PROVIDE ANSWER TO QUESTIONS BEING ASKED.

The police image maker in  Enugu State Police Command should stop contradicting himself and do his job professionally by providing answers to question being asked.

We are very happy that the police image maker mentioned one Uroko Ifeanyi Moses ( alias "sim card", aged 28) who was identified and arrested. We are aware that the above mentioned person was the individual on mask who was released by ASP Dumbiri few hours after illegally arresting several women including breastfeeding mothers. We are aware that he Ifeanyi Uroko ( alias sim card ) is a drug peddler who peddles drugs ( Mkpuru Mmiri) for ASP Dumbiri and always takes him around on mask to arrest innocent citizens for sole purpose of extortion and brutality. 

Where is the Ifeanyi Uroko ( alias sim card)? is he still in detention for the crime? has he been tried for the crime? Was he released by ASP Dumbiri at Obollo Afor round about after the illegal arrest.

The only statement that we will hold on with respect  to this illegality called policing is that of the CP Enugu State Command which you stated as follow "Commissioner of Police, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, psc (+), has sympathised with the family and relatives of the deceased. He has also directed the Deputy Commissioner in charge of the State CID to conduct a discreet investigation to establish the circumstances of Mr. Nnaemeka's sudden collapse and death. He urges community members, including the youth, to cooperate with the police, maintain peace, and use appropriate channels to express their concerns"

The police image maker should stop taking side with ASP Dumbiri and  provide answers to the question directed to ASP Dumbiri through the petition submitted to the IG of Police and a copy sent to the CP of Police Enugu Command. 

We Demand that ASP Dumbiri should tell us what he was doing with Mr. Nnaemeka Ugwu's ATM card and Phone prior to his collapse. We want to know what led to his collapse, was he hit with an object or was brutalized too as was done to others. We want to know who are the people present before he collapsed.  The police image maker should also note that Hon. Onyemaechi was called by ASP Dumbiri with Nnaemeka Phone that he has collapsed.

While we abide by the advise of the CP who urged community members including the youth to cooperate with the police, maintain peace and use appropriate channel to express their concern, we want to state that ASP Dumbiri should be in detention over alleged involvement of the death of Mr. Nnaemeka Ugwu while in his custody. 

We refer SP Daniel Ndukwe, Police Public Relation Officer, Enugu State Command to our petition for a better image making of the police. 

Attached to this article is a copy of the Petition that was sent to IG of Police and copied to CP of Police, Enugu State Command.
