Uzo-uwani PDP Chairmanship flag bearer for the Forthcoming LG Elections, Hon Barr.Chijioke Ezugwu promised to prioritize security

…says it’s goodbye to insecurity as he vows to evict all the hoodlums terrorising the Council Area.

Promises to make his administration all-inclusive.

Hon Barr.Chijioke Ezugwu gave these assurances while addressing the Stakeholders of Uzo-uwani during an Exclusive meeting of Uzo-uwani Stakeholders held today, Friday 16th August, 2024  ahead of the  party's LG Congress Tomorrow, Saturday 17th August, 2024.

Hon Barr Ezugwu condemned the spate of insecurity in Uzo-uwani LG and promised to fight it head-on.

While appreciating Governor Peter Mbah and the good People of Uzo-Uwani for choosing him to serve them at a time a new leadership that would do something different was needed.

He also promised that his administration Shall key into the disruptive innovation policies of his Boss. 
He promised  to deploy innovative technology in fighting insecurity and maintained that he must ensure that perpetrators of crimes are brought to book within a reasonable time.

The flag bearer further promised that he will create opportunities for Uzo-uwani Youths to flourish both in digital and other skill acquisitions.

The Party Chairman, Hon Jude Okonkwo  Commended the Stakeholders for their loyalty and commitments to the party and also enjoined them to embrace peace as they embark on electing new party leadership.

The meeting was well  attended by Stakeholders and party stalwarts across the 16 wards in the Council Area.

Nkpunato-Nkpologu Autonomous Community  in Uzo-uwani LGA is in crisis and in complete dilemma as the Ministry of Local government Rural Development and chieftaincy Affairs headed by Hon Deacon Okey Ogbodo arbitrarily recognized  Candidates without Elections.  News media agency confirmed this ugly incident on Monday through the outgoing President General, Chief Barr A.A Onyeji.
