GOVERNOR UGWUANYI TO SENATE : A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION FOR ENUGU NORTH SENATORIAL ZONE.

Lawrence Ifeanyichukwu Ugwuanyi with his legislative and executive experience has an edge over others as he will be focused on the people and consolidation on his achievements instead of spending too much time trying to understand the legislative chambers like his counterparts.
Leadership is no child's play and it requires so much focus and attention to many things at same time which comes from practical experience. HE. Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has the required capacity with his experience in the national Assembly and 8 years experience as the executive governor of enugu state. His homework will be easier as he will be focusing on building more rather than starting from the scratch like his competitors who are taking advantage of the general public plight to present themselves as the expected messiahs.
For all other contestants, it is an opportunity to get hold of power and exploit, pack their own selfish believed share of the state resources. This explains why none of them has been able to tell Enugu people what they are going to do and how they are going to achieve it. The only thing they know how to do perfectly is attacking the government, even those that have been part of the government and couldn't deliver on a simple task to keep Enugu state clean. Of course it is easy to criticize and blackmail the current government, distract and instigate the public against the incumbent government but ask him, how did you manage what was entrusted in your hands, He will resort to blames and splash out unreasonable excuses. Just attack the government and the the people will hail you but none of them is prepared for the task.
One contestant went to a radio broadcast, forgot his party name and was mentioning another political party in place of his party repeatedly. Is that the kind of politician we are going to entrust our zone welfare and progress with? This is an indication that the man is too old and tired to offer anything different from what we see President Muhammadu Buhari doing in Aso rock today, Sleeping on the job. The question is what are they going to do differently. The most amusing thing about this candidates is that they talks tough until campaign funds are totally deflated by their clique of every season opposition party experts. Then they will send their highly intoxicated and stimulated followers to to election polls empty and unprotected ready to cause havoc and create more mess for the government to take care of. It's high time the public, ask the right questions about these wolfs in sheep clothing regarding their past antecedents. There were people who believed in some of them in the past, how did they impact them positively after election? Or did they abandon them only to reactivate them during the next general election? If you planned for these people who stood by you, they would have been more relevant and willing to invest in your interest in next election but no, they will discard them right after election. You can't continue deceiving the innocent and gullible young men and women with attacks on the incumbent government. Those who were ready to stake their life and integrity for you in the previous election, where are they?
Governor Ugwuanyi's senatorial bid will serve Enugu North senatorial zone better considering his experience, projects attracted to Nsukka zone so far, his peaceful approach to crisis situations, liberal nature, respect for freedom of speech, top notch conflict resolution skill and the integrity that comes with his name at national level. He knows all that and knows he will need to continue building on that.
If we the people decides we are sending a fresh hand in to offices, it should be done accordingly, a youth with proven leadership capacity in the private sector or government sector just like Barr. Peter Mbah, We should start caring about the councilors and LG chairmen elections to elect our grassroot leaders, then go up to state Assembly, Governorship and Presidency as concerned citizens.The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones. Gov. Ugwuanyi understand this perfectly and is already ahead of them with youth engagement in politics today.
A vote For HE.Gov.Ugwuanyi is a vote for more results not for excuses and blame games. Newbies are going to spend long long time complaining and blaming the processes that they met till it's game over. Gov. Ugwuanyi already knows the terrain, it's routes, processes and activation buttons. This means he will be kicking off immediately, he will know what exactly needs to be said or done, to who, how to say or do it, when to say or do it and where it will be suitable.
He have spent much time grooming youths for some years now and that's an indication he is willing to pass the baton to the young and tested leaders from different works of life in the state. Look around the opposition and tell me what you see, the gathering of old men who missed their shots but sorry, Gov. Ugwuanyi have made a big statement saying it's youth "O" clock and that's what it is. In Enugu State, "The grass is not greener on the other side". Ugwuanyi have done his best giving youths Local Government and House of Assembly positions. It's left for the public to do their part agitating for transparent leadership from these youths or not.
