ON ENUGU STATE AND OUR NEXT GOVERNOR  IN 2023

Sen. Ekweremadu remains first choice. Three others come distant second.

Basic Realities:
1. Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, by virtue of his position as Governor of the state is a significant quantity,  a partial power giver, but may not be the ultimate power giver. So, his understanding is necessary for a peaceful power transfer in 2023.

2. Senator Ekweremadu,  is a powerful power influencer, and from the list of those being bandied in the social media, he stands way on top of the list, that personally, objectively or subjectivity speaking,  he should be the next Governor of Enugu State.

3. There are people being bandied and  rumored as the Governor's anointed, like a serving commissioner related to the Governor and a Speaker of the House of Assembly.  With due respect, I  don't believe for a second that our Governor would even contemplate such abberation . We are not in a monarchy. 

3. There are others that are not even worth alluding to. .. they are incapable and may have shown massive incapacitating tendencies and absence of productive mindset both as serving and former parliamentarians and Federal office holders; their level of incompetence has no quality and cannot be quantified,  except to say the least, failures....they cannot  add value  to Enugu state positive development.  They would take Enugu State one million years backwards. 

4. Going beyond Ekweremadu,  I can mention three other persons who are very intelligent and would make productive Governor.  They have shown strength of character,  but, let us be clear,  they are not in the same league as Ekweremadu. 

5. Therefore,  based on our critical character and leadership indices, the following would be Sen. Ekweremadu's alternatives

A. Hon. Godwin Ogenyi
B. Dr. Victor Nnam
C. Barrister  John Collins Nwobodo 

For now, Ekweremadu  remains the first choice,  but in due course I would be presenting formal and critical insights about the three mentioned  sons of Enugu state.

God will give courage to men of goodwill who are weak in heart.
