More Reason's why Zoning is not in existence in Enugu State.

In #Gov. Sullivan Chime's interactive interview with the Sun newspaper on November 23, 2018, he said.

"I was the leader and I took a decision (to pick my successor from Nsukka senatorial zone), which was very easy to sell. Everybody that heard it supported that decision." #Gov. Sullivan commented.

It is obvious that #Gov. Sullivan Chime did not pick his successor based on zoning system and he never ever mentioned zoning system during and after his administration.

When #Gov. Chimaroke Nnamani picked #Gov. Sullivan Chime to succeed him, he didn't chose him based zoning system too.

Before #Chimaroke Nnamani picked #Gov Sullivan Chime, he had several meetings with a lot of stakeholders and he was searching for an easy to sell candidate.

In the words of #Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Gburus), he said "equity and fairness will be followed". Be reminded that Enugu East, North and West has produced 4 governors, 2 governors & 1 governor respectively. Do you need a prophet to tell you that equity and fairness is begging for Enugu #West zone to produce the next governor of Enugu state?

Ndi Enugu, let us choose a sellable candidate in the person of #Sen. Ike Ekweremadu; he is sellable and he will outperform his predecessor.

UDENU ADC SUSPENDS ITS  LOCAL GOVERNMENT PARTY CHAIRMAN, PASSES VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE. The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State has suspended its Local Government Party Chairman, Hon. Ngwu Chisimdi, popularly known as Bamaiyi, following far-reaching resolutions adopted at an Executive Committee meeting held on Wednesday, January 15, 2026.
