We don't get the opportunity to celebrate great men and women daily. Today is one of those rare days we celebrate an illustrious achiever. A man whose foundation have given relief and upliftment to thousands of people within his zone and beyond. 

IKEOHA NDI IGBO, as a leader have given so much to his people that his name represent integrity and fairness to them and the people of south east at large. Through his foundation's yearly scholarship scheme, many young men and women actualized their dream of going to higher institution, through his yearly bursary award many from his zone and beyond were able to go through school. His support for women through his empowerment scheme do not go without a mention. IKEOHA FOUNDATION  have over the years done so much that no other leader in Enugu state history have been able to do.

IKEOHA as a senator and  representative of his people of Enugu west have a long list of Road constructions, borehole water, electricity transformers and school rehabilitations in every local government of Enugu west. This great works , IKEOHA have been able to extend to others zones of Enugu state. This is the difference between IKEOHA and other leaders from Enugu state where House of Representative members and senators continue to hide under the false umbrella of I am a lawmaker and not an executive to syphon constituency funds and spend years without reasonable projects and works.

IKEOHA is equally a man of peace, his coordinations and principles revolve around respect for one another, he is a true democrat and humble leader. Today, his achievements as a lawmaker compares to governors who have spent 8 years as the chief executives of Enugu state. He have done all this without stepping on anyone's toe. If you have been opportuned to meet him in person, his words echoes peace and diligent in dealing with people. 

IKEOHA is a great mentor, father, lawmaker and a good role model for me, if I could be anyone among the leaders of Enugu state, I would be IKEOHA.

Today, I join the good people of Enugu state, Nigeria and everyone around the world in wishing Your Excellency a happy birthday as you turn 59 years. May God's immeasurable blessings abide with you sir.

Enugu Community in crisis as Ministry of Local government Rural Development and chieftaincy Affairs issued certificates of Return/Recognition to Candidates without Elections. Nkpunato-Nkpologu Autonomous Community  in Uzo-uwani LGA is in crisis and in complete dilemma as the Ministry of Local government Rural Development and chieftaincy Affairs headed by Hon Deacon Okey Ogbodo arbitrarily recognized  Candidates without Elections.  News media agency confirmed this ugly incident on Monday through the outgoing President General, Chief Barr A.A Onyeji. He noted that their Town Union elections which was held on Dec 9th ,2023 did not produce winners owing to the crisis that occurred during vote counting in the post of president General.
