EDUCATION EMPOWERMENT: UDENU COUNCIL MAYOR GIVES OUT 65 JAMB FORMS AND PROVIDES FREE LESSONS CENTER FOR  INDIGENT JAMBITES

The Udenu Local Government Chairman, Hon.Solomon Izuchukwu Onah, through the Udenu Graduates and Undergraduate Association, led by Comrade Eze Kenneth, empowered 65 Indigenous jambites with jamb forms and free lessons center, on 3rd May 2021, at the Local Government Secretariat.

The Council Mayor at the kickoff event, highlighted the importance of this empowerment program; Noting that education remains the key to all success. He further asked beneficiaries to avoid every vices but pay maximum interest to their studies. 

The Udenu Deputy Mayor, Hon. Tochukwu Eze  (Orka)also encouraged the students to put in their best, assuring them that the Council would do more if they could  come out with flying colours. He reminded the beneficiaries to beware of all forms of distraction and  be good ambassadors of their families and the Council at large.

The former Udenu Transition Chairman, Hon. Onyekachi C Ugwu and Hon. Stanley Ugwu, expressed their gratitude to the working Mayor of Udenu Local Government Area  and also encouraged the beneficiaries to make use of the golden oppportunity  given to them.

To top the event, Comrade Cosmas Nwaitodo, the Udenu National Youth Council Leader, gave out 10 forms to support the Council Mayor while Hon. Stanley Ugwu (Omalicha)gave out two forms.
