The Man of the Moment:
He remains without equivocation, a strong builder of men and unrepentant human capital developer.
A humanitarian par excellence whose empowerment programs through Ikeoha Foundation have lifted so many young men and women from unemployment and also provided sources of livelihood to the teeming disillusioned and indigent households in Enugu State and beyond.
According to Shakespeare:
"Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them”, In the spirit of the foregoing it will be logical to say that the Former Deputy President of Nigeria Senate has achieved greatness through dint of hard-work, humility, uncommon resilience, iron clad principles and time tasted character traits and above all have greatness bestowed upon him by Almighty God".
His representation in senate has been very rewarding to Enugu west senatorial district and the entire Enugu State at large. He has attracted so many federal developmental projects and resources to Enugu west and beyond.
History will forever remember him as one of the most dynamic Speaker of the ECOWAS parliament, who brought the activities of the institution nearer to the people.
Ekweramdu is an embodiment of selflessness, he has demonstrated through his leadership style that the validation of any leader can only come through the wellbeing of the people he leads.
An erudite scholar whose political and economic acumen ought to be a classical subject to be cited in academic works and class rooms.
No doubt that Ikeoha Global is a man that has an uncommon fate with providence.
He has shown overtime that a man’s greatest asset is his character and ability to harness human capital resources, this is reflective in the way he has painstakingly against all odd nurtured and molded men and women who are doing absolutely well and dominating public spaces in different fields
His political sagacity and administrative prowess steeped in sterling wisdom and uncommon humility are quite ennobling, this he has deployed in many critical times to score high rewarding political punches.
There is a saying that if you want to be a functional leader in any society, you must understand the terrain, the yearnings and aspirations of the people you want to lead ( a case study of Enugu State come 2022/2023 ), the receding line has been at the very foundation of Ikeoha's convictions and leadership principles.
Even little detractors concede that HE Distinguished Sen Prof Ike Ekweremmadu is the most outstanding among his contemporaries.
"As the call for HE Distinguished Sen Prof Ike Ekweremmadu CFR to consider joining the race for Enugu Governorship come 2022/2023 gathers momentum, it is a choice which offers so much for Enugu given the rich credentials and attestable achievements of this great son of Enugu. The rewards of having Ekweremadu occupy the ‘Lion Building’ from May 2023 are unquantifiable".
His vast knowledge and experience which he has demonstrated seamlessly in the Senate, will most certainly reposition and revamp Enugu state and place it on enviable pedestal in the development indices.
