Enugu North APGA Visit Ekweremadu, pledge to Support Senator's ambition

The local government executive members of the All Progressives Alliance (APGA) has pledged to support Senator Ike Ekweremadu, should the former deputy Senate President of the federal Republic of Nigeria decide to contest any elective office in 2023.
 
The members of the party who made their position known when they paid condolence visit to Senator Ike Ekweremadu representing Enugu West Senatorial zone in the red chamber, following the recent death of his younger brother, Hon. Mathias Ekweremadu, who until his death was commissioner for transportation in Enugu state, used the occasion to aplaud Senator Ekweremadu for constructing a road at Obimo in Nsukka, Enugu State. 

According to the spokesman of the group, Mr. Jideofor Eze, who introduced himself as APGA chairman of Udenu local government area, he described Sen. Ekweremadu as one of the most performing public official across the federation. 

"We are particularly here to pay condolence visit to His Excellency, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu. And also appreciate him for extending his selfless service to Obimo in Nsukka where he constructed a road for our people. 

"For this singular reason, I want to assure you that local government excos of APGA in Nsukka' Zone will support your ambition, if you decide to vie for any office in the nearest future. 

In his response, Sen. Ekweremadu thanked the party members for coming around to share in his grief, while assuring them that he would live to remember the visit. He further told the visitors that in due time he would make his position about future aspiration public.
