ENUGU 2023 AND THE FATE OF AWGU CULTURAL ZONE!

Enugu as a State is made up of four distinct cultural zones which are Agbaja/Udi zone, Awgu zone,Nkanu zone and Nsukka zone.
From the days of Jim.I.Nwobodo&CC Onoh as the governors of old Anambra state  there has been mutual understanding and cooperation among the four Wawa brothers.
And that is why they were able to produce two governors to the detriment of Ndi Agba-Enu(present day Anambra)despite the  fact that later was  richer with more connections as at then.
From Old Anambra to present day Enugu State, other zones except Awgu zone has been fairly treated in terms of power rotation and democracy dividends.
For instance,Agbaja zone has produced two governors,deputy governor,four ministers and many Ambassadors.
Nkanu zone has produced two governors,two deputy governors,three ministers & Ambassadors.
Nsukka zone has also produced two governors, deputy governor, minster and Ambassador.
Awgu zone
Governors=0
Deputy=0
Ministers=0
Ambassadors=0

And I ask what is the sin of Awgu zone??
Ndi Enugu 2023 present us with another opportunity to balance the unbalanced equations.

And for sake of equity, fairness, Justice and above all the peaceful cohabitation among us ,an Awgu man should succeed Governor Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi

Nkpunato-Nkpologu Autonomous Community  in Uzo-uwani LGA is in crisis and in complete dilemma as the Ministry of Local government Rural Development and chieftaincy Affairs headed by Hon Deacon Okey Ogbodo arbitrarily recognized  Candidates without Elections.  News media agency confirmed this ugly incident on Monday through the outgoing President General, Chief Barr A.A Onyeji.
