IMAGINE ENUGU STATE WITHOUT SENATOR IKE EKWEREMADU IN 2023.

Senator Ike Ekweremadu who is representing the good people of Enugu West senatorial district in the red chambers of the National Assembly was born in 1962 at Amachara Mpu in Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State. He holds both Bachelors and master's degree in Law from the University of Nigeria , and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987. He also holds Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Law from the University of Abuja , Nigeria. The Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana (USA), appointed Sen. Ike Ekweremadu as a full visiting professor and senior mentoring scholar of e-governance and strategic government studies.

From his disadvantageous background he rose from grass to grace to become a deputy senate president of the Federal Republic of  Nigeria for 12 solid and fruitful years. Just like the saying that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. Ikeoha as he is popularly called is a living witness. 

Ikeoha started his political journey from been the LGA Chairman of Aninri where he emerged the best LGA Chairman in Enugu State as far back as 1997. From there he was appointed SSG, Chief of Staff under the administration of the former Governor of Enugu State Dr. Chimaroke O. Nnamani and from there he vied for the Senate and won and since 2003 he has proven his worth at the Red chambers. 

Sen. Ikeoha via his track records over years in the government makes him outstanding and the best among equals. His unequalled/unmatched representation at the Senate has brought uncountable developments not just to his LGA, senatorial district but also to Enugu State as a whole ranging from social amenities, women and youths empowerment programmes to human capital development. 

For his outstanding performance at the Red chambers he has given a lot of committees to oversee including ECOWAS Parliament as the Speaker. Ikeoha has championed numerous people oriented bills for the betterment of the good people of Nigeria. (This thing nobi for mouth ooooo, the records are there) 

As a tripartite politician who has wealth of experience and knowledge in the art and science of governance when it comes to the three arms of government , Ikeoha has proven beyond every reasonable doubts that he is capable and able to manage the affairs of any institution be it a State or a Nation-state as the case may be. 

Imagine Enugu State in 2023 without Senator Prof. Dr. Ike Ekweremadu as her Executive Governor. It shall be well with  Enugu State and Ndi Enugu in 2023.
