HE Distinguished Sen Prof. Ike Ekweremmadu CFR 

He is a founding member of International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace ( IPTP ).

The International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace was inaugurated 6th July, 2018 in the main hall of Maltese parliament in Valleta, Republic of Malta capital.

The inaugural session was attended by 54 presidents and representatives of regional governments and national parliaments from all over the world. 

The International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) which is an integral part of the Global Council for Tollerance and Peace (GCTP), held its first procedural session at the Maltese Parliment in Valletta, Malta, on July 6, 2018.

During the inauguration the following committees were established: 

Committee of Youth and Women:

Committee of Legal and Legislative Matters:

Committee of International Matters:

Committee of Cultivating Peace and Committee of Sustainable Development:.

Global Ikeoha Ndi-Igbo was elected the Chairman of the Committee of Legal and Legislative Matters by World leaders at the first inaugural session of The International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace which held  @Valleta, Republic of Malta capital.

Enugu Community in crisis as Ministry of Local government Rural Development and chieftaincy Affairs issued certificates of Return/Recognition to Candidates without Elections. Nkpunato-Nkpologu Autonomous Community  in Uzo-uwani LGA is in crisis and in complete dilemma as the Ministry of Local government Rural Development and chieftaincy Affairs headed by Hon Deacon Okey Ogbodo arbitrarily recognized  Candidates without Elections.  News media agency confirmed this ugly incident on Monday through the outgoing President General, Chief Barr A.A Onyeji. He noted that their Town Union elections which was held on Dec 9th ,2023 did not produce winners owing to the crisis that occurred during vote counting in the post of president General.
