An Enugu Based Legal Practitioner Bar.George Blast Udenu leaders Over Non Supply of Electricity in Parts of Amutenyi Umurama and Umuamoke Communities in Obollo Afor.

In Reaction to a publication made few Hours ago regarding the issue of Non Supply of electricity in parts of Amutenyi, Umurama and Umuamoke Communities in Obollo Afor getting to a year plus now.

Here is what Bar.George Agbo an Enugu legal Practitioner and also an indigin of Obollo Afor, whose parents reside in one of the affected(Umurama) Community have to say.

The situation is very disturbing and worrisome,how can this act of wickedness and negligence be explained or defended by our elected representatives eg:Obollo-Afor ward councillor (a native of Umurama),Executive Chairman of Udenu LGA past & present, House member representing Udenu State constituency in Enugu State House of Assembly, more so His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State(who incidentally comes from the same Udenu LGA of Enugu State)to mention but a few, one may argue that the generation and distribution of Electricity has been privatised and so shift this negligence/flagrant abandonment of more than three communities in darkness for two years to EEDC,but we all know that the government at all levels intervenes/helps in provision of basic social amenities like TRANSFORMERS which are the only equipments needed to light up the three communities,I therefore join my voice with that of the author of this write up in calling the various authorities charged with the responsibility of providing  this all important service "light " to the theming disadvantaged voting masses to do the needful.
